The portals are as complex as career planning platforms and as basic a run-of-the-mill leave management system. Each portal has been developed keeping in mind the various nuances of the service it provides to the employees – hence the various portals may not always be congruent to each other.
The employees, however, see Human Resource as one team and expect a single, integrated platform where they can find everything HR. This dissonance hampers user experience.
And this is precisely scope of 'EVA by Tata Communications' wherein EVA denotes ‘EXPERIENCE VALUE ADD’ which we could offer to our employees. Building a single, integrated and intuitive portal which provides our employees access to all the services delivered by the various HR sub-functions. However, the below-mentioned services should be flexible and like widgets – this means every employee should have the flexibility to choose based on their requirement.
Using Design Thinking methodology we have designed a mobile only platform 'EVA by Tata Communications', that aims to provide a world class user experience to all the employees in Tata Communications.
